Nothing beats the world famous C3 3rd generation Corvette. With the LT-1 engine and factory rated 370 horsepower, it was the most unprecedented sports car of its time.

In an effort to pack more punch in a less space, Chevrolet focused in on smaller-displacement engines and in 1970, they introduced the LT-1. A 350 cubic inch engine with factory rated 370 horsepower. An unprecedented size and number for sports cars at the time.

The difference between the 70 and 71 corvette bodies and those that came before was the design of the side vents, one was egg crate shape, the other was like that of shark gills.
